I just wanted to say thanks for having my back. I went for a job interview today and having attended WOMEN’STEC, and doing volunteering with you went in my favour. I got the job!
I am now in part-time employment because I was able to sit my exams in the centre and my child attends the nursery all because Shankill Women’s Centre made me believe I could do anything., I tell everyone to go even just to mingle with others, Shankill Women’s Centre changed my life
Coming back to gain a new skill was terrifying, just coming through the doors but I need not have worried, the staff made me feel I could achieve anything I wanted. I love taking part in all that the centre has to offer as I have no fear now, thank you girls you’re one in a million
I found the classes to be a lifesaver for me when I was medically retired. They really gave me something positive to think about. I always feel welcome and enjoy the company

Shankill Women’s Centre is like one big family, once you walk in the doors you feel so at home. The centre has helped me gain confidence in myself and has helped me deal with stuff I never thought I would get through without their support
